A Call For Service
A call to action from our President:
After speaking with Judy Burgess, our Club President, Mary Hey has determine that Judy would appreciate help with prepared meals.  Judy is unable to do much, due to her arm being in a sling.  She has no dietary restrictions.  Mary plans to make a couple of casseroles,  put them in individual containers and freeze them. She has an extra refrigerator with an empty freezer so she can keep meals for Judy until she needs them.  Anyone wanting to help please let Mary know and can work out a plan with you for getting the food to her freezer.

If you are not a cook or don't have the time there is a place called Dream Dinners just off 620 and Lake Creek.  They have a menu you order from and then go and prepare the meals at their kitchen.   You can pay to have them prepare them; however, if anyone wants to purchase a gift card  for Judy I will be happy to prepare the meals for her and store them.  An introductory offer is $80 for 18 servings.  Maybe there are a few members who would like to each put in $20 each to get her a card?

Below is the website for the store at 620.

The owner used to be in Rotary and has been invited to our club in the past.

Judy may also need help in getting to doctors appointments and other errands and Mary plans to find out more about that need and other needs in the next few days.
