Anna Bauereis is passionately committed to making an impact in the lives of those she comes across each day.  She has dedicated her career to psychology, social work, and childhood development, and is also an expert in development, operations, and marketing management.

Anna experienced a tragedy no parent should ever have to endure, the loss of her son.  After losing her 14-year-old son, she relied upon her strong faith to get her through the pain.  Her strength and resilience in the face of adversity is evident in all her endeavors and a characteristic she brings to each engagement.

Her mission is to inspire others to grow to their full potential.  Anna aims to help all those in her community and beyond to develop and use their strength and perseverance and to bring hope into their daily lives.

Most recently, Anna devoted her time and energy as owner and Executive Director of Brain Balance of Austin and Cedar Park.  She used her knowledge of childhood development to help young students overcome barriers that are associated with learning, processing, and behavioral disorders to help to soar academically and socially.  At Brain Balance, Anna worked to find solutions to the pain, struggle, and financial burdens many families experience.

Anna continues to study functional neurology and is a member of the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation.  She is also an active member of the Austin, Texas community, serving in volunteer roles with Ballet Austin Guild, Women Symphony League, Vision Zero ATX, Vision Zero Texas, and Farm and City.

Reducing energy use and waste saves money in organizations as well as homes. The efficient use of resources is also good for the environment. But sustainability can be deceptively complex. A search for motion sensor lights yields 102M results!  And habits take sustained effort to change.  Susan will share information from her study on Inhibitors and Motivators to sustainability and how EcoCampaigns can move us up the engagement curve of sustainaibility in an affirming way.

Susan is the author of the award-winning book “Beyond Light Bulbs: Lighting the Way to Smarter Energy Management,” cofounder and ex-CEO of Go Green Squads, an energy efficiency provider for thousands of properties, and founder of EcoCampaigns to accelerate sustainability solutions.  Previously, Susan worked at IBM as a manufacturing engineer, marketing representative and manager where she received technical and managerial awards.  She then founded Human Excel, a corporate education firm, where she helped organizations improve efficiencies, reduce wastes, and save energy. She has taught and mentored Process Improvement projects, with an estimated $250 Million in savings. Susan has an engineering degree from University of Illinois and an MBA from University of Texas.
